Soi Cowboy, a lively street of bars, is 250 m away, and Benchakitti Forest Park, an urban park with a lake and walking paths, is nearby.

Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in traditional teak houses, is 3.7 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, is 7.1 km away. A good day could start with a walk around Benchakitti Forest Park, continue to Jim Thompson House and end with the evening bars of Soi Cowboy, and the park is also a pleasant place for a morning walk before the city gets busy.
