Baansuansao

Every room at Baansuansao has a TV, a desk, a hair dryer and toiletries. The Standard Room and the Standard Single Room both have air conditioning and a shower, and the Superior Room has a private bathroom.

The Superior Room sleeps up to three guests, the Standard Room sleeps two and the Standard Single Room sleeps one. The Standard Room measures 25 m² and the Standard Single Room 24 m². Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Baansuansao sits in Silom, on Soi Pramote, a side street off Surawong Road in the Bang Rak district of central Bangkok. Silom is one of the city's main business districts, with office towers, street food stalls and busy side streets that come alive in the evening. The skytrain runs through the area, linking Silom to Sukhumvit and to the centre of the city. Patpong, one of the best-known night markets in Bangkok, is part of the district's evening life, so the streets stay busy long after the offices close.

Surasak BTS station is 800 m from the hotel, and Saphan Taksin station, a little further on, is the stop for the river piers at Sathorn. Assumption Cathedral, one of Bangkok's older churches, is 400 m away. Further afield, Jim Thompson House, 2.9 km away, shows a collection of Thai art and Southeast Asian objects in a group of traditional Thai houses.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace, 4 km away, then go by river boat to Wat Arun on the far bank of the Chao Phraya. In the evening, Asiatique - The Riverfront is a lively riverside stop for dinner and shopping, and it is an easy place to finish the day.
