From the town, the sea and the limestone karst scenery that Krabi is known for are both reached by boat, with the bays and islands lying just offshore.

Ao Nang Beach is 1.7 km away and the Ao Nang Night Market is 1.1 km from the villa. Boats leave from Ao Nang for Railay, a peninsula of beaches and cliffs 4.5 km away that is reached mainly by longtail boat, and for islands such as Poda, where you can swim and snorkel. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.2 km away, is a hilltop temple with a golden Buddha and a long climb of steps.

A good day could begin with a swim or a walk on Ao Nang Beach, followed by a longtail boat trip to Railay and a return to town for dinner at the night market. Boat trips to the islands can be cancelled when the sea is rough. Travellers arriving by air land at Krabi International Airport, 18.6 km from the villa, before the drive to Ao Nang.
