BAAN650 Hostel

Rooms at BAAN650 Hostel run from a double room with its own bathroom and a king bed to dormitory rooms with bunk beds or single beds. Air conditioning is in every room, and some rooms have a city view. One of the dormitories is for female guests only.

Dormitory rooms sleep between one and ten guests on bunk beds or single beds, and they share their bathrooms with other guests. Several dormitories sleep one guest in a single bunk bed each. Showers, towels, linens and toiletries feature in several of the rooms, and the private double room has its own bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas as well. The shared lounge and TV area gives guests a place to relax, and the public areas have air conditioning.

BAAN650 Hostel is on Petchkasem Road in the north of Hat Yai, a busy commercial city in southern Thailand. The surroundings are a mix of roads, shops and markets rather than a quiet residential district, and the city's food stalls and night market are close by.

Within a short distance are Kim Yong Market and Santisuk Market, the Magic Eye 3D Museum and the Asean Night Bazaar, the city's night market. Wat Hat Yai Nai, a Buddhist temple, is 3.8 km away, and Hat Yai Municipal Park is 2.8 km away. Hat Yai International Airport lies 13.7 km away, and Hat Yai Junction railway station is 2.6 km from the hostel. Buses and trains from other parts of the country stop at the stations nearby, so the hostel is easy to reach by public transport.

A good day could start with a walk around Kim Yong Market and Santisuk Market, then a visit to the Magic Eye 3D Museum in the afternoon. In the evening, the Asean Night Bazaar is the place for food and shopping, and Hat Yai Municipal Park gives a green break in between. Guests can return to the shared lounge afterwards to rest, after a day spent at the markets and museums nearby.
