Local bus stations are within a few kilometres, and Aquaria Phuket, an aquarium, is a short walk further on, and the Big Buddha is a large statue on a hillside, reached by road from the apartment.

A good day could start at Wat Chalong in the morning and continue with a walk through the markets of Phuket Town in the evening, when the Weekend Night Market is open. The Big Buddha and Patong Beach make a fuller excursion for a second day, and the apartment's own car park makes it easy to reach them.
