Baan Talay Guesthouse

Baan Talay Guesthouse has bunk beds in mixed and female-only dormitories, plus private rooms with a shower. All the rooms have air conditioning, and the dormitory rooms measure 16 m² and sleep one guest each.

A 12 m² room has a double bed, a private bathroom and space for two guests. A 20 m² room has a partial ocean view, a balcony and a seating area, and a 25 m² room has two queen beds and a balcony for up to four guests.

Massage and spa services are offered on site, along with a sauna. Tours and a taxi service are offered, and the guest services include luggage storage, lockers, safety deposit boxes, ticket services, daily housekeeping, laundry and ironing.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms and the public areas, and free parking is available on site for guests who bring a vehicle. Rooms can have air conditioning and a shower, and the wireless internet access works in the public areas of the property as well.

Haad Rin is the beach area of Ko Pha-ngan best known for the Full Moon Party, a monthly beach gathering that draws large crowds to the bay. Baan Talay Guesthouse is about 60 m from the sand, so the beach is a short walk from the rooms, and the party ground lies 150 m away.

Ban Haad Rin, a small village in the area, is close by, and the Haad Seekantang and Haad Rin Nok beaches are within a short walk along the coast. Ao Hat Rin bay opens onto the coastline, and the Haad Rin Viewpoint, 800 m away, offers a view over the bay. The beaches of the bay are close together, so most of the walking stays short. Reaching the island means flying into Samui Airport, which lies 13.9 km away across the water on Ko Samui, and then taking a boat to Ko Pha-ngan, as there is no road link to the island.

A good first day starts on the sand at Haad Rin, followed by a walk to the viewpoint over the bay. Back at the guesthouse, massage and spa services are on site for a rest after the boat trip from Ko Samui, and the sauna is there as well.
