Baan Sukreep Resort

Accommodation at Baan Sukreep Resort is in bungalows and villas set in the grounds, with room capacities from three to six guests. Most rooms have a garden view, and several have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

Some rooms have air conditioning, blackout curtains and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, while others add a mini bar, a refrigerator, a radio or a coffee and tea maker. Free Wi-Fi is part of the room equipment in several of the bungalows and villas, and a few rooms have an additional bathroom or a walk-in shower, so the rooms differ in how they are equipped.

The facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a garden, a shared lounge with a TV area, a library, karaoke, billiards, a game room, a dart board and a mini golf course.

For active guests there are tennis courts, a squash court, a solarium, hiking trails, horseback riding, diving, snorkelling, fishing and watersports, with watersport equipment available for rent. Free parking is available on site.

Dining includes a restaurant, a bar, a poolside bar, a coffee shop, a snack bar and room service, and the restaurant offers Asian, Chinese, international and western cuisine. The resort also offers airport transfer, car hire, a shuttle service, ticket services, luggage storage and laundry service.

Chaweng Noi is a quieter stretch of coast beside the busier Chaweng area on Koh Samui, the island in the Gulf of Thailand. The village around the resort is small and set back from the sand, and the area is calmer than central Chaweng, with houses and gardens rather than the nightlife of the main strip.

Chaweng Noi Beach is 350 m from the resort, a short stroll along the coast. Lamai Beach, further down the coast, is a longer beach with a night market in the evening. Inland, Na Muang Waterfall lies 7.6 km from the resort, and the Big Buddha, on a hilltop, is 8 km away. The Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, stand close to Lamai and make a good stop on the same trip.

A good day could begin with a swim at Chaweng Noi Beach, then head to Lamai for the Grandma and Grandpa Rocks and the evening market. The Big Buddha and Na Muang Waterfall make a separate day trip inland. Samui Airport is 5.5 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer, so the island is easy to reach by air before you set out to explore.
