Baan Pratoom

The rooms at Baan Pratoom include a twin room with a walk-in shower, double rooms with a private bathroom or a shower, and rooms overlooking the garden. The 40 m² rooms have air conditioning, a TV with satellite and cable channels, a telephone and a mosquito net, and each of them has a private entrance.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and each room takes three or four guests. The double room with a private bathroom also has a bathtub, and the twin room has a walk-in shower. Toiletries, towels and linens come with the Twin Room with Shower and the Double Room with Private Bathroom.

The area has a busy, everyday feel, with markets, food stalls and small shops along the main roads, and it is a different side of Bangkok from the tourist districts by the river.

The metro is a practical way to get around from here. Lat Phrao MRT station is 550 m from the hotel and Ratchadaphisek MRT station is 1.3 km away, and both connect to the wider metro network. Chatuchak Weekend Market is 3.2 km away, and it is a large weekend market with clothing, food and crafts. For flights, Don Mueang International Airport is 11.9 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 23.1 km away.

A day out could begin at the Chatuchak Weekend Market and continue to Jim Thompson House, a museum house of Thai silk and art in central Bangkok. The Children's Discovery Museum is nearby for younger visitors, and the Wat Lad Phrao pagoda is close by. Ratchada Market is close to the hotel, an easy stop after a day out, and the Jim Thompson House is a good counterpoint to the bustle of the weekend market.
