Ao Nang Beach is 3.6 km from the villa, and the roads near the beach have street-food stalls and massage shops. Tour offices along the main roads make the town a convenient base for day trips by boat.

Railay Beach, 4.6 km away, is a peninsula of limestone cliffs reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang, and Phra Nang Cave, 5.7 km away, sits on the same peninsula with a beach and a shrine. Poda Island and Tup Island are popular stops on boat trips from Ao Nang, and the bay around the town is a common starting point for these trips. Longtail boats leave from the piers in the town for the peninsulas and islands nearby.

Tiger Cave Temple, known as Wat Tham Suea, is a hilltop temple reached by a long staircase, 11.7 km away near Krabi Town. A day could start with a morning on Ao Nang Beach and continue with a longtail boat to Railay in the afternoon. Krabi International Airport is 15.8 km away, and in the rainy months rough seas can cancel some boat trips.
