Baan Nat The Village

The rooms offer air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and free WiFi, and the twin and double rooms have private bathrooms with a shower and toiletries. Several rooms also have blackout curtains.

Sizes run from 16 m² to 29 m². The two deluxe rooms measuring 20 m², one double and one twin, look out over the garden, and the Superior Room and the Deluxe Room both sleep up to three guests. The Standard Twin Room, at 24 m², has two queen beds.

Free parking is available on site, and free WiFi covers all rooms, with WiFi also in the public areas. The hotel has a garden, luggage storage and daily housekeeping, and English and Thai are spoken by the team.

Baan Nat The Village is on Sakdidet Road in Tambon Talat Nuea, in Phuket Town, the island's capital and its historic port district. The old Sino-Portuguese quarter of Phuket Town is a short distance away, and the feel here is that of a working town rather than a beach resort. Local buses for other parts of the island leave from the Phuket Town Local Bus Station, 2.1 km away.

Chaloem Phrakiat Park, a large public park with green space and walking paths, is 850 m away. The Plein Poa Night Market, 1.4 km from the hotel, fills up in the evening with street food stalls. Baan Chinpracha, a Sino-Portuguese mansion, is one of several museums in the old quarter. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known Buddhist temples, is 5.6 km away, and Patong Beach, the lively west-coast resort, is 9.9 km away.

A day could start early at Wat Chalong, then return to Phuket Town for the museums of the old quarter and the evening market, which is the place to end the day with street food. Taxis are the easiest way to reach the west-coast beaches, which are a drive away, and the Big Buddha on its hilltop is also a stop for visitors.
