The rooms at Baan Laimai Beach Resort & Spa range from 36 to 40 m² superior and deluxe rooms, some with pool, beach or garden views, to 80 and 110 m² family accommodation with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Rooms sleep between two and four guests, and the family accommodation sleeps up to five guests, so groups of four or five can stay together.

Several rooms come with bathrobes, hair dryers, toiletries and towels, and some have wireless internet access or satellite and cable channels. Some rooms also have a bathtub. The superior and deluxe rooms have either one double bed or two single beds, while the family accommodation has a king bed or two single beds.

It suits guests who want the beach and the nightlife close by rather than a quiet cove. Phuket is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so the island is reached by road, and Phuket International Airport is 24.7 km away.

Bangla Road, the lively street of bars and night entertainment, is a short walk away, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, 750 m from the resort, has shops and places to eat. Freedom Beach is a secluded cove nearby, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6.7 km away. The large white Buddha on a hilltop, Big Buddha Phuket, is 7.2 km away.

A day here can start with a swim or a walk along Patong Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong in the afternoon, and end back on Bangla Road. Karon and Kata beaches are a short drive along the coast, if you want a different beach for the afternoon. A taxi service and a shuttle service are offered by the resort, so a car is not essential for short trips.
