Phuket Old Town, about 2.6 km away, is the place to see the Sino-Portuguese houses and the Baan Chinpracha museum, a restored family house, while Khao Rang hill, nearby, has views over the town. Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, is 9.1 km away, and Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park and show complex, is 12.7 km off.

A day could begin in the old town with the shophouses and the museum, continue to Wat Chalong, and end with a meal at the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market on a Sunday. Phuket International Airport is 24.4 km away, and the bus terminals are 1.1 km from the hotel. Patong Beach is further out, and makes a natural choice for an afternoon by the sea after the temple. The bus terminals are nearby, for trips to other parts of the island.
