Baan Kaemsai

The property is let as one apartment of 24 m² with a courtyard view. The private bathroom has a roll-in shower, and the apartment is equipped with a hair dryer, an electric kettle, toiletries and towels.

Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a coffee and tea maker and fresh linens are provided, and the apartment sleeps up to two guests.

Free parking is available on site, and the apartment has its own private entrance. Internet access is available. Guests can use bicycles, and the property is wheelchair accessible. English and Thai are among the languages offered.

Inside the apartment there is a refrigerator, a stove, dishes and dining utensils, a closet and a desk or workspace, so self-catering is possible. Toiletries, towels, body wash, a hair dryer and linens are provided, along with a TV, air conditioning and coffee or tea.

Khao Lak is a stretch of the Andaman coast in Phangnga province, where forested hills run down toward long sandy beaches. The area was badly hit by the 2004 tsunami, and the International Tsunami Museum and several memorials recall that day. Baan Kaemsai sits in the Khuekkhak area, so the beach and the national park can both be visited on the same day.

Khuk Khak Beach is about 750 m from the apartment, and Bang Niang Beach is about 900 m away. Inland, Ton Chong Fa Waterfall lies in the hills of the national park, and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park itself is about 6.1 km away, with forest and waterfalls. The national park is the main green area of the district and a good place for a day away from the sea.

Phuket International Airport is about 63.7 km away, and the journey from there continues by road, since Khao Lak itself has no airport. A day could start on Khuk Khak Beach, the closest of them, and continue to Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, or to the Similan Islands by boat. Boat trips to the Similan Islands can be cancelled when the sea is rough, especially during the monsoon months.
