The railway station is a short ride away, with trains to Bangkok.

A day could start at Phra Pathom Chedi and its grounds, continue to the Sanam Chan Palace park and the Wat Phra Ngam pagoda, 1.1 km away, and finish at the Phra Pathom Chedi Night Market in the evening. For more time outdoors, Wang Taku Forest Park offers green space for a slow walk, and the stupa grounds are a good place to see the town's architecture up close.
