Baan Iris Salaya

The property is a single one-bedroom villa of 26 m², with a queen bed and two bunk beds, so it sleeps up to four guests. Air conditioning and a fan keep the villa comfortable, and a socket near the bed and a mobile hotspot device are part of its equipment.

Inside, the villa has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, plus a hair dryer, an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The property also has a terrace, and the villa is let as a whole to the group staying in it.

Free parking is on the premises, so guests who arrive by car, or who rent one to explore the area, can leave it there while they are in the villa. The property also has a terrace and is a smoke-free property, so smoking is not part of the stay.

Baan Iris Salaya sits in Salaya, in the Phutthamonthon district of Nakhon Pathom province, a residential and academic area on the western edge of the Bangkok metropolis. The neighbourhood has quiet residential streets, the Salaya campus of Mahidol University and several Buddhist temples. It is a calm setting for a stay just outside the capital, with the centre of Bangkok on the other side of the Chao Phraya river. The area is largely residential, with a slower pace than central Bangkok.

Within a few kilometres you will find the Royal Gems Golf And Sport Club and the Thai Film Archive, both 1.2 km away, and Wat Suwannaram, a Buddhist temple 1.6 km off. Sala Ya Station, on the rail line that runs toward Bangkok, is 2.9 km away, and Phutthamonthon, a large Buddhist park, lies further out at 4.4 km.

Because the property has free parking on site, a car is the easiest way to reach the golf course, the museums and the park. For a day out, the Thai Film Archive and the temples make a quiet morning, and the golf course is a good option for an afternoon away from the city. Don Mueang, the closest airport, is the nearest of the two Bangkok airports to the villa.
