Baan Heaven

Accommodation at Baan Heaven is a five-bedroom house of 400 m² that sleeps up to 15 guests. The house has five bathrooms, a mountain view and a choice of bed set-ups across its bedrooms, so the sleeping arrangements can be set up in several ways.

Baan Heaven is in Patong, one of the largest beach resorts on Phuket, a busy area of hotels, restaurants and bars set along the sand. Patong Beach is 600 m from the house, so the sea is close by while the resort's streets are close too. Patong has a long beach with a wide choice of places to eat, and its evening life gathers on a few busy streets, so a day on the sand can easily be followed by a night out.

Several well-known places are close by. Bangla Road, Patong's nightlife street, is 1.9 km away, and Freedom Beach, a small secluded cove, is nearby. Further afield, the Big Buddha Phuket, a large Buddha statue on a hilltop, is 7.1 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, one of the most revered temples on the island, is 7.2 km away.

A good day could begin at Patong Beach, continue with the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong in the afternoon, and end with a walk along Bangla Road in the evening. Phuket International Airport, 25.4 km away, is the nearest airport, and the island's roads connect the sights and the beaches. Many of the places in this guide are reached by road, so a hire car or a taxi is the usual way to plan a day around the temples and viewpoints.
