Baan Chart Hotel

Baan Chart Hotel offers rooms with single, double, queen and king beds. Several rooms measure 22 m², a 30 m² room sleeps up to four guests, and a 25 m² room sleeps up to five. Some rooms have a city view.

The Khaosan area of Banglamphu, the historic district along the Chao Phraya river, is where Baan Chart Hotel stands. The streets around it are lined with guesthouses, market stalls and street-food vendors, and the district is easy to explore on foot.

Khao San Road is 150 m away, and the Grand Palace is 1.3 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) inside the palace grounds. Wat Phra Chetuphon, better known as Wat Pho, houses a large reclining Buddha, while Wat Arun, a tall temple with a porcelain-covered tower, stands 2 km away across the river. The Jim Thompson House, a museum devoted to Thai silk, makes a different kind of stop.

A good day starts with the palace complex and Wat Pho, then you can cross the river by ferry to Wat Arun. Several of the main sights are close together, so one day can cover the palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. The Chatuchak Weekend Market lies far from the old city, so it is a day trip rather than a walk, and the river piers at Phra Arthit and Phra Pin Klao are close to the hotel for boat trips along the Chao Phraya.
