Baan Boa Resort

Baan Boa Resort offers sea-view rooms, pool-view rooms and standard rooms, most of them with a choice of bed set-ups. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries, and some also provide bathrobes. One room sleeps up to five guests.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the pool-view rooms overlook the resort's pool. Children aged 4 to 15 need an extra bed, which carries an additional charge, while infants aged 0 to 3 can stay for free on the existing bedding. Baby cots can be requested directly from the resort, subject to availability.

Baan Boa Resort is in Patong, one of the best-known beach towns on Phuket, and Patong Beach is 50 m away. The streets around the beach are busy with restaurants, bars, massage shops and street-food stalls, and the town is lively in the evenings, while the sand is popular with swimmers and sunbathers. Phuket International Airport is about 25.1 km away by road.

Bangla Road, the best-known street for nightlife in Patong, is 1.2 km from the resort, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, which has shops and restaurants under one roof, is nearby. Big Buddha Phuket is a large seated statue on a hilltop 7 km away, with wide views over the island. For a quieter beach, Karon Beach is 3 km away, a long stretch of sand with a more relaxed feel than Patong. Freedom Beach, a small cove next to Patong with a quieter atmosphere, makes a good half-day on the sand.

A day could begin with a swim in the resort's pools, continue on Patong Beach and end on Bangla Road in the evening. For a different morning, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is one of the island's most important temples, and Phuket FantaSea offers an evening show with traditional dance and spectacle.
