The main sights, including the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, are in the old city on the river, a longer trip across town. A day in the parks around the hotel can be followed by an evening at the night market. Because the old city is a long way from Bang Na, a full day is the simplest way to see the main temples and the palace area, and the evening can be spent back near the hotel.
