Kata Beach, a popular beach on the west coast, is 4 km away, and Phuket Bird Park and Tiger Park Phuket are within a few hundred metres. Chalong Pier, the ferry terminal for trips to the islands around Phuket, is 2.5 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 31.1 km from the property.

A day could start at Wat Chalong, move on to the Big Buddha and end at Kata Beach, with the bird and tiger parks close to the property. Kata Beach on the west coast makes a quieter afternoon than Patong, which is busier. Guests with a car can use the free car park on site, and boat trips from Chalong Pier can be cancelled when the sea is rough.
