Phang Nga, the province on the mainland, is known for the limestone karst scenery that runs through the whole bay.

The beaches closest to the resort are Secret Beach, 2.9 km away, and Laem Had Beach, 4.2 km away. Neighbouring Koh Yao Yai is reached by ferry, and Manoh Pier, a ferry pier on the island, is 1.2 km away. Boat trips head out to Hong Island, a limestone island in the bay, and to James Bond Island, the karst rock made famous by a Bond film.

A good day out is a boat trip around the bay, past the limestone islands and karst cliffs that the area is known for. The resort's garden, pools and massage service make a restful end to the day. Most day trips from the island go out by boat, so the sea sets the pace of the day. In the rougher monsoon months, sea conditions can cancel boat trips around the bay.
