Mae Haad is the small village around the main ferry pier on Ko Tao, and the guesthouse sits in its lanes close to the water. Boats from the mainland and Ko Samui dock here, so the village has a steady flow of arrivals, dive shops and massage parlours, and it grows quieter towards the bays at its edges.
