Khao San Road is 850 m away. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) is 1.8 km away, and the Grand Palace is 2 km away. Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall, tiered tower, is 2.8 km away on the far bank of the Chao Phraya, and Wat Mai Amatarot, a pagoda only 200 m away, is a quiet stop close to the hotel. Sam Yot MRT station is nearby, and Thewet Pier on the Chao Phraya is close by, so boats offer a practical way to reach the river and the riverside temples.

A good first day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, continue by boat to Wat Arun, and end with dinner on Khao San Road. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a separate trip across the city and suits a second day.
