At Phangan Hostel

Rooms at At Phangan Hostel are mixed dormitory accommodation, and they can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a fan and a balcony or terrace. Bathrooms are shared, and showers are available.

The 35 m² room has a partial sea view and a bunk bed for one guest, with air conditioning and blackout curtains. The Mixed Dorm sleeps up to two guests, so it fits a pair travelling together, and both rooms are mixed dormitory-style accommodation at the hostel.

The restaurants and the bar are on site, and room service is available 24 hours a day. Tours can be arranged, and water sports are offered in motorised and non-motorised forms. There is also a fitness centre, a garden, a hot spring bath and a private beach.

The front desk is staffed around the clock, and there are a laundry service, luggage storage, express check-in and check-out, a shuttle service and ticket services. A concierge and currency exchange are also available.

There is a children's swimming pool and a kids meal option, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Parking is on site, with valet parking as well, and pets are allowed.

At Phangan Hostel is in Haad Rin, a beach village on Ko Pha-ngan best known as the setting for the Full Moon Party. The village is lively in the evenings, with bars, dance schools and the beach close at hand. Quieter beaches lie further along the coast of the island, and reaching them takes a longer trip.

Haad Rin Beach is 100 m from the hostel, and Haad Rin Nok, another beach in the area, is 200 m away. Further on, the Haad Rin Viewpoint is 600 m away, and the Haad Rin Queen ferry terminal, 450 m away, is a boat terminal close by. The nearest airport is Samui Airport, 14.1 km away on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui, so the journey from it includes a boat crossing to Ko Pha-ngan.

A simple day can begin on Haad Rin Beach, continue to the Haad Rin Viewpoint and end with dinner back in the village, where the bars and dance schools are. The Full Moon Party takes place on Rin Beach, a short distance from the hostel, on the night of each full moon. Anyone travelling from further away should allow for the boat leg of the journey, since Ko Pha-ngan is an island.
