For a day out, Chatuchak Weekend Market, 19.7 km away, is one of the largest markets in Bangkok and is busiest at weekends. Don Mueang International Airport is the nearest airport, 32.4 km away, and it is the usual starting point for a stay in this part of the city. Along the river, the ferry crossings offer a short trip between the banks, a simple way to see the water from a different side.
