Patong is the busiest beach town on Phuket, and At Home Hotel & Service is in its streets, with Patong Beach about 800 m away. The long sandy beach is lined with hotels and restaurants, and the evenings are lively, with bars and night markets in the streets behind the sand. The hotel is a practical choice for those who want the sea and the nightlife within a short walk.

Bangla Road, the lively street of bars, clubs and food stalls, is 1.2 km from the hotel, and the Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall, is a short distance away. For a quieter outing, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the most revered temples on the island and lies 5.9 km away, while the large white Big Buddha on its hill is 6.4 km from the hotel. Both are good places to see the island beyond the beaches.

A practical day could start on Patong Beach, continue with a walk through the streets to the Dragon Night Market in the evening, and end on Bangla Road. For another beach day, Kata Beach and Karon Beach are both reached by road from Patong, so the coast is easy to explore without leaving the island's main roads.
