Days in this part of Khao Lak tend to be unhurried, with the sand close by and the national parks and waterfalls reached by road.

Sairung Elephant Trekking, Ban Thap Tawan Beach and the Baan Nam Kem Tsunami Memorial are all within a short drive. The memorial, 6.7 km away, is a reminder of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami that struck this coast. Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, 19.4 km away, has forest trails and waterfalls, and the Similan National Park, 25.2 km from the resort, is reached by boat.

A good day could start with a swim at the resort and a walk along Bangsak Beach, then a trip into the national park for its waterfalls. The Similan Islands are closed to visitors during the rainy months, roughly from May to October, so the boat trips depend on the season. Arriving by air, most guests fly into Phuket International Airport, 76.7 km away, and reach the resort by road from there.
