The Asok BTS station is 350 m away and the Sukhumvit MRT station is 450 m away, so the BTS and the MRT connect the area to the rest of the city. Siam Paragon is 2.7 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a complex of traditional Thai teak houses, lies a little further on.

A good day starts with a walk through Benchakitti Forest Park, 550 m away, a green space with a lake and paths around it. From there the BTS takes you to Siam for shopping, and the Asiatique - The Riverfront night market and entertainment complex sits on the Chao Phraya river, 6.8 km away, for an evening outing. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, in the old city on the river, make a longer trip for a second day, and the Sukhumvit area mixes the modern city with the historic districts, which are a longer trip away and make a full day out on their own.
