A good day can take in the Grand Palace and Wat Arun in the old city, then Chatuchak Weekend Market on a weekend, when the market is open. For the airports, the Airport Rail Link at Makkasan runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 21.4 km away, while Don Mueang International Airport is 18.8 km away, so the trip out of the city is planned around the airport you need.
