Further afield, the large Buddha statue on a hilltop is 6.9 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), Phuket's most important temple, is 6.3 km away.

A day out can combine the Big Buddha with the temple at Chalong, which are some distance from the hotel, with an afternoon at Freedom Beach. The evenings suit a walk along Bangla Road and through the night markets, which are close enough to reach on foot from the hotel. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, and the journey from it is by road.
