The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha are a short walk from the hotel, and Wat Pho, home to a famous reclining Buddha, is close by. Khaosan Road, the lively street known for its backpacker guesthouses and street life, is 1.7 km away. The Sanam Chai MRT station is within walking distance for trips across the city, and both Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports are a drive away.

A good first day can begin at Tha Tien Pier, 200 m from the hotel, where you can take a boat along the river. From there you can walk to Wat Pho, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun in the afternoon, and finish the day with a walk back along the river. In the evening, Khaosan Road is a short ride away, and the walk back to the hotel passes the riverside piers, so the evening can end on the water side of the old city.
