For visitors who want the beach, the markets and the nightlife close at hand, Patong works well on the island.

The Night market is a short walk away and serves street food. Bangla Road, 1.6 km from Arch Club, is the lively street of bars and clubs that gives Patong its late-night reputation. Kalim Beach, a sandy stretch a little further along the coast, is also close to the town. Wat Chalong, one of Phuket's most important temples, is 7 km away, and the Big Buddha statue on Nakkerd Hills is 8.4 km away. The beach and the markets are an easy walk, while the temples and the Big Buddha are easier to reach by taxi or tuk-tuk.

A good day here begins on Patong Beach, continues with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, and ends at Phuket FantaSea, a cultural show 6.4 km from the hotel. Karon and Kata beaches are the next stops along the coast for a quieter afternoon.
