Apollo Hotel

Every room at Apollo Hotel has a private bathroom with a shower and sleeps up to two guests. The rooms measure between 18 and 30 m², and each one has either a courtyard view or a nature view. The rooms include a double room with a window, a suite with a king bed, a room with a terrace and a twin studio with two single beds.

The Silver Suite has a king bed, and the Twin Studio has two single beds. Every private bathroom has a shower, and depending on the room you book, you may find a sauna, a bathtub, air conditioning, blackout curtains or a mosquito net. Kettles, toiletries and satellite or cable channels appear in several rooms, though not in all of them.

Apollo Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a garden. The spa offers a sauna, a steamroom, a hammam and massage beds, all on site.

Daily housekeeping is provided, and guests can use the laundromat or the laundry service for their clothes. Safety deposit boxes are also available for all guests, private check-in and check-out are offered, and non-smoking rooms are available.

Free parking is available, and free Wi-Fi is offered in all rooms, with internet services in public areas too. Pets are allowed, and the hotel is both cat-friendly and dog-friendly. Rooms can also have a flat-screen TV, a clothes dryer and an in-room safe box.

Apollo Hotel stands on Soi Ta-iad in Chalong, a district of Phuket known for its Buddhist temples and its Muay Thai camps. Several gyms are a few hundred metres from the hotel, including Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp, so the streets around it have a strong Muay Thai presence. The area feels more residential than the beach strips on the west coast, with local shops and temples close by.

Wat Chalong, the Chaithararam Temple, is 1.3 km away and is one of the island's most important temples. Big Buddha Phuket sits on a hill 4.7 km from the hotel, with wide views over the surrounding land. The Phuket Botanic Garden is 900 m away, a large green space with tropical plants. Patong Beach, 6.8 km away on the west coast, is the livelier choice for a night out.

Since the beaches and temples are spread across the island, a car or a taxi is the practical way to get around, and the hotel has free parking for guests who drive. A full day could start at Wat Chalong, continue to the Big Buddha and finish at Karon Beach, a long sandy stretch with a lively seafront to finish the day.
