All rooms at Apartement 28 Stay High have air conditioning and a private entrance. The rooms measure 50 m². One is set up for a single guest with a bunk bed, and the other sleeps up to five guests with a choice of bed set-ups.

Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, a locker, a socket near the bed and a clothes rack, so guests have a place to store their belongings.

Phantip Market, 1.6 km away, is the place for food and everyday goods, and Ko Pha-ngan Pier, 1.9 km away, is the island's ferry terminal. Muay Thai is a strong theme here: Diamond Muay Thai and Kobra Muay Thai Stadium are both close by, which is useful for visitors who want to train.

A day could start on Thong Sala Beach and continue with a visit to the village markets and temples. Ao Chaloklum Bay and Salad Beach lie much farther across the island, so they need a longer ride. Samui Airport is 19.1 km away on Koh Samui, a neighbouring island, so the last part of the journey is by boat. Back in Thong Sala, the hostel's bar and nightclub offer a simple way to end the day, and the village streets are a short walk from the hostel.
