The limestone peninsula of Railay, reached by longtail boat, is about 4.7 km away, and Phra Nang Cave, a limestone cave on the same peninsula, lies about 5.8 km away. Tup Island and Poda Island are also reached by boat, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop Buddhist temple reached by a long climb of stairs, is about 11.8 km away. For a day out, spend the morning on Railay's cliffs and beaches, then take a boat trip to Tup or Poda Island and return to Ao Nang in the evening for the market. The islands are reached only by sea, so allow time for the boat before you set out. The Weekend Market is also close by, with food stalls and local goods.
