It is a base for beach days and boat trips more than for quiet countryside.

Ao Nang Beach is 1.1 km from the house, and the ferry terminal at Ao Nang Beach Pier is 1.2 km away. Railay Beach, 2.5 km away, is reached only by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.2 km away, is a hillside temple that visitors reach by a long climb. You can walk to Ao Nang Beach, while Railay and the islands are reached by boat.

A good day from the house is a longtail boat to Railay, with a visit to Phra Nang Cave, a beach and cave on the same peninsula. Poda Island, 7.2 km away, is another boat trip from Ao Nang, and the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is an evening option nearby. Boat trips can be cancelled in rough seas, mostly in the rainy season.
