Railay Beach, 6.2 km away, is reached only by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 11.4 km away, is a hilltop Buddhist temple reached by a long staircase. The villa has free parking, so a car is useful for getting around, while Krabi International Airport lies 16.2 km away.

A good day could start on the beach and continue by longtail boat to Railay, or to the nearby islands of Tup and Poda, which leave from the piers of Ao Nang. In the evening, the Krabi Weekend Night Market is a lively place for an outing at weekends. Boat trips are the main way to reach the islands from this part of Krabi, so the piers are part of any plan that goes offshore. Sea conditions can change boat plans, particularly in the rainy months.
