Ao Luek Homie Homestay

Ao Luek Homie Homestay has bungalows and double rooms, and air conditioning is provided in every room. The bungalow has a fan and a private bathroom, while the two double rooms have a mountain view, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom.

The Double Room with Balcony measures 40 m² and has space for up to four guests. The Budget Double Room measures 25 m² and sleeps up to four. Both double rooms face the mountains, and the bungalow sleeps up to two guests.

Guests can use the garden, the game room and the terrace, and bicycles, canoeing, fishing and hiking are offered. On-site entertainment is available, tours can be arranged, and car hire and a shuttle service are offered too. Air conditioning is provided in the public areas as well.

Ao Luek is a small coastal area of Krabi province in southern Thailand, where limestone hills rise behind the shore and daily life moves at a slower pace than in the resort town of Ao Nang. The Hong Islands, a group of limestone islands reached by boat, lie 900 m from the homestay, so boat trips are a natural part of a stay here. Ao Luek Hospital and a cash machine are also nearby, so the basics are close at hand.

Around the homestay there are several places to see. Than Bok Khorani National Park, with its creek and waterfall, is 4.3 km away, and the Krabi Elephant Sanctuary is 1.4 km away. Tham Lot cave is close by, and Tree Top Adventure Park Krabi, which offers aerial courses through the trees, is a good choice for an active afternoon.

A good day could start with a boat trip to the Hong Islands and finish with a walk through the national park. In the rainy months the sea can be rough and boat trips may be cancelled, so the islands are best planned around the weather. Krabi International Airport is 42.5 km away, and the road from there is the way to reach the homestay.
