The Ratchaprarop station on the Airport Rail Link is also close, so the Skytrain and the rail link are the nearest public transport options.

Around the homestay, the Wat Thatsanarun Suntharikaram pagoda and Santi Phap Park are both within 300 m, so a single outing can cover a temple and a green space. For the main sights, Jim Thompson House is 2.1 km away: it is a museum made of traditional teak houses, set around the collection of the American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson. The Grand Palace, in the old city, is 5.7 km away, and Wat Arun stands on the Chao Phraya riverbank nearby.

A good day could start at the pagoda, continue to Jim Thompson House and finish at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, which is busiest at weekends. For a quieter evening, the streets around the homestay are a good place for a stroll.
