Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with evening shows, is 5.5 km away, while Patong Beach, 10.9 km away, is the island's liveliest beach town, with bars and nightlife. Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is 18.1 km away and is one of the most revered temples in Phuket. Layan Beach, a further stretch of sand, is a good place for a walk along the coast.

A day could start with the beach at Bang Tao, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong, and finish with a show at Phuket FantaSea. For a quieter day, the private beach and the pool at the hotel are an alternative, and Phuket International Airport is 11.8 km from the hotel for those arriving by air.
