Every room at Andaman Place is air-conditioned. The hotel offers a Deluxe Room with a double bed and a Family Room with a queen bed, each measuring 32 m² and accommodating up to two guests.

Thalang has a quieter pace than the resort areas, and the airport is one of the main reasons guests choose the district.

Several places are close by. Wat Kanan, a pagoda, is 1.3 km away, and Thalang Fresh Market is nearby with local produce and everyday goods. Phuket International Airport, 8.4 km from the hotel, is the main air link to the island, and Layan Beach, at 5.7 km, is the closest beach to the hotel. Most of the island's beaches and attractions are reached by road, and the hotel offers an airport transfer.

A day could start with a visit to Wat Kanan and the local market, then continue to Layan Beach in the afternoon. In the evening, Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with a show, is 10.8 km away, and Patong Beach, 15.4 km away, is the best-known nightlife area on the island.
