Andaman House

The rooms at Andaman House are twin, queen and standard types. They can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a refrigerator, a desk and a balcony or terrace, and some look onto the garden. Beds are single or queen beds, depending on the room.

The Superior Twin Room measures 26 m² and has a garden view and air conditioning. Daily housekeeping is offered, and the Standard Room has blackout curtains.

Andaman House has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, along with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge with a TV area. An airport transfer is available, and tours, ticket services and bicycle rental are offered as well.

Laundry service and dry cleaning are offered, and luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, a concierge, daily housekeeping and cash withdrawal are also available.

Air conditioning is provided in the public areas, and a coffee shop and a vending machine are on site, with food delivery offered too. The hotel also has diving and non-motorised water sports, English and Thai are spoken, and service animals are welcome. Guests who want to spend time at the hotel will find the two pools and the garden among the main shared spaces.

Andaman House is in Patong, the lively beach town on the west coast of Phuket, where the long curve of Patong Beach is the main draw and the streets behind it fill up with restaurants, bars and night markets. The area offers both the sand and the nightlife within a few kilometres of each other, and it is a practical base for exploring the rest of the island.

Patong Beach is 1.2 km from the hotel, and Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large shopping complex, is 1.5 km away. Bangla Road, the street where much of Patong's nightlife is concentrated, is nearby, and Wat Suwan Khiriwong, a pagoda, is also close to the hotel. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6.9 km away and is one of the most revered temples on the island, and the Big Buddha, on a hilltop, is 8.4 km away.

A day here could start with a walk along Patong Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, and end with the night market in the town centre. Kalim Beach, 1.6 km from the hotel, is another beach on the same coast and makes a change from the busier sand at Patong.
