The Pho Nimit BTS station is 1.8 km from the hotel, and The Grand Palace is 5.1 km away, the starting point for the temples of Bangkok's old city. Wat Bang Nam Chon, a pagoda, is also close by, and a ferry pier on the Chao Phraya sits a few hundred metres from the hotel.

A full day could begin at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, and end with dinner at Asiatique along the water. There is an airport transfer service, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 27.9 km away, so the trip into the city is a matter of planning ahead rather than a detour.
