Ananda Villa

The rooms at Ananda Villa include a double and a twin of 36 m², 24 m² rooms with a sea view or a partial ocean view, and a Superior Room sleeping up to five guests. Rooms can have individual air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe, a refrigerator and a coffee/tea maker, and one room has a balcony/terrace.

The 36 m² rooms have a double bed or two single beds, and the Double Room with Sea View has a king bed. Rooms can also have a hair dryer, toiletries, towels and a TV, and private bathrooms with showers. The Superior Double and the Superior Twin both have a partial sea view.

Dining at Ananda Villa includes a restaurant serving Western cuisine, a coffee shop and room service, with food delivery also available. Bicycle parking is provided for guests. Between the restaurant, the coffee shop and room service, guests have several ways to eat without leaving the resort. Free parking and free Wi-Fi in all rooms are included as well.

Diving, fishing, snorkelling and tours are available, and ticket services and luggage storage are also provided. Guests can also use safety deposit boxes, dry cleaning and laundry services, and daily housekeeping is provided.

Public areas have air conditioning, and internet services and WiFi in public areas are provided. English and Thai are spoken, and cash withdrawal is available at the hotel.

Mae Haad is the ferry village on Ko Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand known for diving, and it is where boats from the mainland arrive. Ananda Villa sits in this small village area, with the beach about 190 m away and the ferry pier about 150 m away. Much of the village is easy to explore on foot.

Haad Ao Mae, the nearest sandy beach, is a short walk from the resort, and Ao Mae Hat, a small bay, lies a little further along. Sairee Viewpoint looks out over Sairee Beach and towards Nangyuan Island, which is reached by boat from the pier. Sairee Beach, a long strip of sand the viewpoint overlooks, is one of the island's best-known spots for diving and snorkelling.

A good day from the resort combines a swim at Haad Ao Mae with a boat trip to Nangyuan Island, and a walk to Sairee Viewpoint for the views. Diving, snorkelling and fishing are all possible from Ko Tao, so the sea is central to a stay here. In the evening, the village streets around Mae Haad are an easy walk, and the pier is close enough to return to the resort without a vehicle.
