Amdaeng Bangkok Riverside Hotel

Talad Noi, a historic neighbourhood of shophouses and small shrines by the river, is nearby. It is a good setting for anyone who wants the river and the older parts of Bangkok within the same walk.

Wat Chee Chin Khor, a Chinese temple, and the Talad Noi Museum are the closest sights, while the bigger temples are further away. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 2.2 km away, and The Grand Palace, which houses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is 2.4 km away. Khlong San BTS Station is 500 m from the hotel, giving access to the Skytrain line through the city, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 26.7 km away.

A good day can start with a walk along the river and a visit to Wat Chee Chin Khor, then continue to the old city for Wat Arun and The Grand Palace, and end the evening in the Yaowarat area, where the Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center is a useful stop. Wat Thong Thammachat Pier, 150 m from the hotel, is a riverside ferry pier on the Chao Phraya.
