Fantasia Lagoon Water Park is also close, and Prachachuen Forest Park and Petcherat Park offer green space for a walk. If you drive, the free car park on site is useful for day trips.

The surroundings also include Wat Phuttha Panya, a temple with a pagoda, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, with thousands of stalls. Khae Rai MRT station is 2 km from the hotel, and Wat Samian Nari SRT station is a little further away. Don Mueang International Airport is 9.6 km away, and it is the nearer of the two airports.

A full day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends, and continue to the Grand Palace, 12.8 km away, with Wat Arun across the Chao Phraya river from the palace. In the evening, Khaosan Road, 11.6 km from the hotel, is known for its bars and street food. Taxis are the easiest way to cover longer distances across the city. The old city and the riverside areas make for a long day, so an early start helps.
