Banzaan Fresh Market (Night) is 500 m from the hostel, a night market with food stalls and local goods. The Chinese Temple is also close by, while Karon and Kata beaches lie further along the coast. Phuket International Airport is 24.9 km away, and taxis and public buses run from the airport to Patong.

For a day out, the Big Buddha, the hilltop statue that is one of Phuket's best-known landmarks, is 6.8 km away, and it can be combined with a visit to Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples. Patong's evenings are easy to enjoy on foot, while the beaches are a good place to spend the morning. For the more distant sights, taking a taxi is the simplest way to get there from the hostel.
