AC Resort

AC Resort on Ko Tao offers rooms in several styles, from cottages and a bungalow to a suite. The cottages, the Standard Hotel Room and the Garden View Bungalow each measure 28 m² and all have air conditioning, a fan, a shower and a balcony or terrace. Several rooms look out onto the garden or the pool.

Beds vary from room to room: one room has a king bed and two single beds, another has two single beds, and the Family Cottage has two queen beds. The Basic Twin Room, the Deluxe Room with Balcony and the Suite sleep up to three guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa with a sauna and massage treatments, and a private beach. A restaurant and a bar are on site, and a shuttle service is offered, with tours that can be arranged.

AC Resort is in the Sairee Beach area of Ko Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that is well known for diving. Sairee is the island's main beach strip, with dive schools close to the sand, and the area is a good base for anyone who wants to be near the water and the island's diving scene. Many of the island's bays and coves are a short boat trip away, and the dive schools near the resort run trips out to sea.

The King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) Monument is 250 m from the resort, and the Ao Mae Hat bay sits a little under a kilometre away. Further along the coast are Ao Tanote Beach and the Sairee Viewpoint, which overlooks Sairee Beach. The nearest airport is Samui Airport, 65.7 km away on Ko Samui, so the final leg to Ko Tao is by boat, and the ferry pier sits about 1 km from the resort.

A good day here starts with a dive or snorkelling trip from one of the schools near the resort, then a walk to the Sairee Viewpoint for a view over Sairee Beach. Boat trips are the way to reach many of the island's bays and coves. The resort also offers diving, snorkelling, fishing and tours, so a day on the water can be planned from the resort itself.
