A Muay Thai complex and a stadium are also close by, and the setting is a quiet part of the island rather than a busy resort strip.

Kantiang Bay is 1.1 km away, and Long Beach runs along the island's coast nearby. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 19.7 km away, covers the islands and coral reefs around the coast, and Krabi International Airport, 51.8 km away on the mainland, is the nearest airport for the island. Scooters and songthaews are the usual way to reach the bays from here, and the national park is a longer trip.

A day could start on Klong Dao Beach, continue to Kantiang Bay and finish with a visit to Khao Mai Kaew Cave, 12.1 km away, before returning to the property. Diving and snorkelling are available through the property, and they take you out to the reefs around the island. Klong Dao Beach is the closest of them, so it is the easiest one to reach on foot.
