Karon Beach, 2.3 km away, is a quieter neighbouring beach. The Big Buddha Phuket sits on a hilltop 6.2 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is 6 km away and is one of Phuket's best-known temples. Car hire is useful for reaching the temple and the hilltop statue, and the hotel's bike hire covers shorter trips.

A good day here could start with a morning walk along Patong Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong in the afternoon, and end with dinner on the streets near Bangla Road. Phuket International Airport is 25.8 km from the hotel, so the first and last part of a trip to the island are straightforward.
